The Story:
A Mindful Revolution in Mental Health

Hello there! I’m Andrea, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you!

In January 2024, I founded this business with a vision to intertwine spirituality with mental health practices. As the job market was entering a quiet recession, I was navigating a challenging period seeking clarity and guidance. My tarot deck became a source of insight—but I quickly realized I couldn’t recall the meaning behind the cards. Instead of giving up, I turned this moment of frustration into an opportunity to create something meaningful.

I spent three days immersed in tarot study and design, followed by weeks of research to find the right printing partner for my idea. What started as a simple idea for mindfulness tarot decks quickly evolved into being invited to sell my creations at a local pop-up market - and the positive response was overwhelming. It was clear that others were looking for the same connection between mindfulness and spirituality that I had discovered. From that point on, the business grew organically—thanks to the support of an incredible community.

Our mission is simple: to bring spirituality back into mental health practices. At the heart of our creations is a focus on mental well-being, with the belief that self-care and personal growth are revolutionary acts. Through art, design, and tarot, we hope to encourage others to explore their spiritual side, build mindfulness, and embrace their own transformation.

As we celebrate our first anniversary, we are deeply grateful for our loyal, returning clientele... your support means the world! Our journey has just begun, and we are excited to continue making magic with every design, every reading, and every piece of art.

Yep, that's me - the creative mastermind behind the business. The graphic designer, artist, and the founder of this space where art, mindfulness, and spirituality come together. I've been reading tarot and collecting sea glass as part of my mental health practice since 2016, but my journey began when I was let go from my design job and turned to the world of freelancing.

With a background in library studies, children’s entertainment, public health, and mental health advocacy, I bring a unique perspective to everything I create. My work is shaped by my deep connection to the ocean as a proud daughter of boat people, often using the meditative process of collecting sea glass as a metaphor for growth, loss, and healing. Each piece I create tells a story of transformation, reflecting my personal journey as well as the experiences of those who interact with my art.

As the face of my business, my success is intertwined with my personal growth as an artist.

My philosophy is simple: everything I create is done with intention, mindfulness, and a touch of whimsy to remind us that magic exists in the smallest of spaces. Whether through tarot readings at pop-up shops in Tkaronto or offering my art and design work, I strive to create a space where people feel empowered to connect with themselves and embrace their own unique journeys.

I'm proud to be part of a vibrant and supportive community of queer, Asian, and artistic individuals who serve as my chosen family. Their belief in my potential pushes me to keep growing and creating, and I’m so grateful to be able to share this journey with them—and with you.

Exhibitions

We have had our very first solo exhibition at Gallery 222 at Chinatown Center Mall, entitled "Return to the Sea," from February 16th to March 1st, 2025. It was incredibly healing, albeit vulnerable, experience.

We have had the honour of showcasing our seaglass art at Northern Contemporary Art Gallery exhibition, "All the Small Things". It has been an amazing experience to connect with other creatives and share my pieces with the local art community.
